It's not a great photo, but we didn't take pictures at the BYU events we went to

Take me out to the baaaaaallgame!

Living in the vicinity of your alma mater has it's perks. For instance, a family friendly tailgate party, JDawgs, and a Baseball game for a family of 4, all for under $15!

Leaving the tailgate party.

Waiting for the game to start! Maddie danced to all the pre-game music.
Despite the rain and interrupted naptime, we made it almost through the 6th inning before having to leave!

Creamery ice cream!

The kids really liked these cool stairs...

...but weren't too keen on the new Cosmo bench.
Notice Caleb's furtive sideways glance, and Maddie's outright struggle to get away?

All in all, it was an exhausting, yet fun family outting.

Master Todd

He refused to walk for graduation, so we had our own special moment as he opened his actual diploma (aka he hammed it up, just for me - ain't he sweet?).

I'm so proud of him! The hard work and dedication speaks volumes about the wonderful person he is, and the great example his is for our children.

The "Maddie face"

JaZZ

It's my turn to teach preschool this week, and wrap up the alphabet with the letter Z! As part of our "lesson" we learned a little bit about Jazz. Todd was kind enough to let me show the kids his trumpet so long as they didn't play with it. He didn't say Caleb couldn't when they left though!
